Our extensive knowledge and our skills in all fields of stone restoration and conservation of listed buildings are also due to our well equipped and excellently managed workshop in Satteldorf.

Currently we employ 8 stonemasons and carvers who are part of our team at the workshops in Satteldorf and Bensheim. They are supervised by two master craftsmen and the workshop manager. Being equipped with a precise computer-controlled bridge saw and the corresponding qualified personnel, we are able to accurately cut the required stone to specified dimensions. We also mill moulding in a fully automated process.

At present, our natural stone store includes approximately 60 different kinds of natural stone, coming from various quarries in Germany and abroad. SDC’s workshop guarantees highest quality in natural stone processing and combines traditional handicraft with the latest technology and the dedication to stones and their individuality.

The workshop with its modern equipment enables us to produce architectural construction parts, compact new parts, crossings, but also delicate unique parts of any kind, as well as copies produced by casting technology in careful manual work.

Our permanent staff is absolutely reliable. Team spirit and confidence guarantee smooth running of every day work. We thus produce all orders on schedule and in best possible quality for their place of destination and deliver them – without any loss of time.
